Hawaii
While working on a 21-acre farm, I not only maintained trails, managed crops, and cared for chickens but also played a key role in educating others about fully organic farming practices. I helped raise awareness about sustainable agriculture by leading workshops and engaging with community members. Additionally, I conducted outreach to other local farms, sharing knowledge and collaborating on organic farming techniques, which strengthened the farm’s network and promoted environmentally friendly practices across the region. Through this work, I furthered my commitment to sustainability and environmental education.

Local Cafe
At The Twisted Tulip where I served as Project Coordinator, I led initiatives to expand our product offerings by making the business more eco-conscious. This involved sourcing products locally to reduce our carbon footprint, adding local sustainable options to the menu, and implementing a better recycling program. I also focused on creating a community-oriented space by organizing weekly jazz events and inviting local vendors to showcase and sell their products in the shop. These efforts not only supported sustainability but also fostered a stronger connection between the café and the local community.

Volunteer
II’ve volunteered with local nonprofits, including helping with community gardens at NE Earth Coalition, organizing grant applications, and assisting with outreach. I've also helped in underprivileged schools and coached youth sports, where I developed leadership skills and engaged with my community. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to community involvement and sustainability.
